several points to talk about today:
1.) yesterday I was told by one of our new cashiers that she was quiting, she seems to think that working on sundays at walmart is not an option since she is a christian and feels this violates God's commandments, (I agree) Walmart gave her her request, but due to some misunderstandings she feels it is better to leave. As I was getting off, I talked to her a little about what it means to be a Christian in the world and how important humility and forgiveness is to our witness. So pray for her.
2.) I rode my bike again, the same route as last time, only this time without the rain and with an onboard computer to calculate and record things like speed, and distance. Some of the stats of this last ride are listed here:
aver. speed: 11.8 mph
total distance: 28 miles
max. speed: 32 mph
total time: 2h 21m
pretty good I think! I will see how I do next week when I try it again.
