Away from the holiday blues

I think I am finally through the holiday blues! This Christmas has been a hard one for my entire family. We have all dealt with a restlessness, fatigue, and melencholiness. But I am beginning to feal as though it is passing. Yay!!!

I got my final grade report back, I got A's across the board, and 1 B. YAY!!!!

Now All I need for them to do is approve my denominational grant and let me start my next semester without having to get another loan, which I am determined not to do. I feel a strange peace about the whole thing, and I think "so this is what happens when you give things to God and trust to His timing and providence." Interesting how these things work isn't it?

any way, tayl.

PS: it would be nice to see more of you people who read, but don't comment to say some things from time to time, just to let me know who actually reads my stuff. You know who you are! Don't be nervous, I won't bite.

God blesses us with peace of mind when we let go(surrender) and allow God to be 1st each day, knowing God has our plan for life is a comfort(planned out start to finish). I know for myself if I try to make things happen and want things to go my way I find myself
discontented, frustrated, complaining ;all sure signs of wrong focus(the focus of circumstance and want).
Right focus is(peace of mind, joy, contentment)are a few blessings of right focus.
Do not let people or circumstance steal your joy in Christ and contentment in life; fight with God's double-edged sword firmly held in your right hand, never allowing it to dull.

SCRIPTURE CHALLENGE:

Instead of quoting scripture for you, as I wanted....
I CHALLENGE anyone out there to quote scripture to go along with what I wrote.

Jeremiah 29:11 - "I know the plans I have for you, declares the LORD, plans for wholeness and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope."

Psalm 37:4 - "Delight yourself in the LORD and he will give you the desires of your heart."

I read your site, Read, and try to comment when I can.

Finding the words to comment on your awesome posts is mindboggling sometimes. I know how you feel; I don't have that many visitors to my page and they don't leave comments. So I always try to think of something to say on other pages that I visit. I'll try harder in the future. I am glad you are updating more often. Keep posting!
