I would like for people to pray for me as I explore a new direction.
Some time ago, I began to believe that God was shutting the door on Wal-Mart for me. Now, although not completely convinced, I am nearly certain this is true.
In an effort to discover the direction that God was taking me I went through a period of intense soul searching and prayer. During that process, I began to believe that God might be directing me in a particular direction. I began to explore that option, believing that God would direct me through open and closed doors. As I explore that option, it would seem that God is opening that door -- at least in part.
The specifics I will leave unmentioned for now, but I request that you all pray that God will give me wisdom in knowing and following His will.
This new direction will require a move to a different state (IL), and then possibly a completely different career choice than my current form of employment (retail).
