I just got back from las vegas, NV this tuesday night. It was a great trip, we drove, Johnny, Josh and I. We stopped over at Tim's (a black sash) house in Boulder, CO half way there and back. Didn't even see him on the return trip, but am grateful none the less for his hospitality.
The kung fu seminar was great, we represented st. louis and our teacher well. Most of the corrections, didn't apply to us. so that was good. We were given some special "gift" techniques from one of the shifu's there. That is always a good thing.
I prayed very hard for a safe and smooth trip, and was very happy to have it come to pass.
I also got the opportunity to hear a lot of the old war stories from many of the first generation students. some pretty impressive stuff.
all in all, it was great.
