you know you're poor when...

I got to talking with my co-workers today about being poor, and most of us being wal-mart associates and college students, are intimately aquainted with this phenomenon. We were making "you know you're poor when..." jokes

1.) you know you're poor when people leave food for you randomly.
2.) you know you're poor when people suddenly volunteer to buy you dinner.
3.) you know you're poor when your grandparents offer to pay you to come visit.
4.) you know you're poor when someone forces you to let them fill your car up with gas.
5.) you know you're poor when car thieves/anyone leaves you money in your car anonymously.
6.) you know you're poor when your co-workers bring you lunch at work.

let me know if you have any others.

I think its more accurate to say, "you know you're a college student when".

You know you're poor when eating at the double arches is fine dining.

If get excited at the site of a convienience store, you're probably poor.

If you think paying 3$ for a meal is expensive, then you're probably poor.
