Dear Sir,

I know this isn't really a comment on your church event but, the reason I am writing is basically because Proverbs 15:22 says that plans with many counselors succeed. So here it goes, I would like to explain my situation and seek your counsel. I know that we don't know each other, but if we are brothers in Christ, then I figure I can seek your advice.

Before I Started living for the Lord I took northern seven star Praying mantis (tang lang)at www.authentickungfu.com for around 2 years. Toward the last 3 months I got saved and was advised to quit, because, they advised, it promotes fear and opens up doors to things I don't want to be a part of(chi, "energy" etc.) Well I took this counsel and felt confident about it. Sadly I never sought God on it. At the time it just made since. I put kung fu out of my head for about a year, but over the last 2 years my heart really seems drawn back to practicing and learning Kung fu.

My dilemma really is this, I don't want to open doors to things that are from the enemy, but I have prayed about it, and I feel the Holy Spirit is saying get back into it. Can you give me any advice or counsel as to what to do about this. is the "internal" training demonic? I just don't know. I read David Hsu's book The Sword Polishers Record, and it has been very insightful, but he comes from a different view, so That is why I am seeking out men of God and their counsel.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

your brother in Christ,
