Tradition

Today I ate dinner with my Grandma, Mom, Dad, Aunt and Uncle and Cousin. My Uncle, Aunt, and Cousin stared at my father and I as we promptly picked up some crackers, opened them, and said "tradition" as we ate them.

It's kinda funny how a tradition gets started. This one got started when father and I would wait for our meal on Sunday afternoons after Church.
We would discuss the sermon and life in general, as we snacked on the crackers they gave use with the salads.
then one day, we were waiting, and I/Father, not sure which one at this point in time, reached over and picked up a cracker and after opening it said Tradition and we ate it. Since then, it is part of the family tradition.

*6 generations later*
"Grandpa, Why do we say tradition and eat a cracker before each meal?"
"Well, it's funny you should ask..."

*smile*
tayl and remember, tradition!

it would be interesting to see how long this tradition will still be going a few hundred years from now.
